Miley Cyrus Debuts a New Music Video for ‘Jaded’
Miley Cyrus released the official video for “Jaded,” the third music video from her latest album Endless Summer Vacation.
On Monday, the pop star teased her latest project on Instagram where she posted a short clip with the caption, “JADED. MUSIC VIDEO. TOMORROW. NOON EST.” In the days leading up to her announcement, Cyrus also shared photos with some of the lyrics from ‘Jaded’ in the caption, hinting at the video premiere.
Although the lyrics of “Jaded” detail a tumultuous relationship full of heartache, the music video is contrastingly very soft and angelic. The video focuses on Cyrus as she sings her song in various settings that match the tone of the other Endless Summer Vacation visuals.
The music video opens with a clip of Cyrus singing topless as she lies on white sheets with shots of palm trees and wildflowers flashing in between. Additionally, there are clips of Cyrus swimming in a pool, similar to her “Flowers” music video. Finally, there are stunning shots of the star inside sporting a metallic gold bodysuit with matching pumps.
Throughout the video, Cyrus appears fresh-faced, her fierce blue eyes piercing through the screen. Despite the sad nature of the song, she comes across as light and joyful as she sings, even flashing a smile or two at the camera.

Fans were quick to celebrate the newest project from the global superstar. On Twitter, many people commented on the stark difference between the emotional lyrics and the lighthearted music video. All fans agreed that Cyrus looked incredible as always.

Endless Summer Vacation is Cyrus’ eighth studio album. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, one spot below her 2020 album, Plastic Hearts. The lead single off the album, “Flowers,” has been breaking records since its release. In addition to spending eight weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, ‘Flowers’ recently became the fastest song to reach one billion streams in Spotify history.
