“Flowers” is now the world’s current top song, remaining above all others on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. Cyrus is breaking records, one of them being her spot at No. 2 for Biggest Worldwide Streaming Weeks in Global 200 History.

Cyrus often expresses gratitude for her listeners, and she hasn’t stopped showing her love for her fans in the weeks since “Flowers” has been released. Whether they’ve come from Hannah Montana or her Bangerz album, or are just now joining in, Miley is thankful for all of her support.

The hit track has gone viral not only in streams but across social media platforms as well. It’s catchy and amazing, but most of all, “Flowers” is empowering. The song is an ode to self-love, spreading a message of happily embracing one’s independence, and Cyrus’ optimism is contagious.

That being said, Cyrus has spoken about being unsure of how far her fame can go. Will fans from one era of her music support her through the others? Will each of her styles gain as much traction? Despite her apprehensions, she’s proven her doubts wrong by creating hits year after year, and “Flowers” just adds to the list of her achievements.

We can expect a lot more from Cyrus soon, as she’s set to release her eighth album, Endless Summer Vacation, this year. “Flowers” is the lead single for the album, giving fans a taste of what is to come for the rest of her tracklist and we can hardly wait.
