This monumental achievement is no doubt due to Swift’s current tour, The Eras Tour. For three hours, the star takes the audience on a journey through each of her albums, or, as she puts it, “eras.” This iconic ongoing tour is a testament to her musical talent, growth, and relationship with her fans.

Since its announcement, the tour has had incredible demand. In fact, it was so high that the Ticketmaster site ended up crashing as a result of the millions of fans trying to buy tickets. Taking part in the tour’s celebration, many towns have begun renaming themselves in honor of the “Anti-Hero” singer. Glendale, Arizona briefly renamed itself “Swift City” during the star’s two-day stop in the area.
Swift’s older albums have had a resurgence in popularity in recent times due to her mission to re-record her first six studio albums. As a result of these records being sold out for the second time, she announced her goal to re-record them to have complete ownership of her work.

Since Swift made this declaration in 2020, two re-records have come out: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) (2021) and Red (Taylor’s Version) (2021). Both works were released to critical and commercial success, with the latter even winning the performer a Grammy for Best Music Video for her “All Too Well” short film.
Earlier this May, the “Enchanted” singer revealed that the next re-recording will be Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which is planned to be released on July 7.
It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆) I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20.
