And Just Like That Making Its Return This June
On May 17, it was announced that the hit HBO original series And Just Like That will have its season 2 premiere on June 22.
Fans of the series can finally mark their calendars. The Sex and the City (1998-2004) revival series will soon make its long-awaited return. On the series’ Instagram account, the poster for the upcoming season made its public debut. In the poster, Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) smiles in the center as the beloved characters surround her, equally celebratory. The caption read, “Pull up a chair, it’s going to be a feast.”
Unsurprisingly, fans celebrated the news.

And Just Like That (2021-present) follows its central characters in their ’50s as they explore the complicated realities of family, romance, and friendship. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis return to embody Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York-Goldenblatt, respectively. Kim Cattrall does not come back to portray Samantha Jones.
The first season came out in December 2021. In the first episode, Chris Noth’s character, Mr. B, died. Given the two-decade romantic history between Carrie and Mr. Big, the death was a major shock to fans. The remaining episodes center around Carrie’s grief, Miranda’s romantic affair and eventual divorce, and Charlotte’s familial life.
Fans can expect to see another familiar face in the upcoming season: Aidan Shaw. Portrayed by John Corbett, the character was a part of the predecessor series as Carrie’s second love interest. Now, years later, the pair are set to reunite.
Teasing the reunion, the series’ Instagram account posted a recent photo of the duo walking hand-in-hand down the street. The caption ominously read, “Shh. Don’t tell anyone.”
We cannot wait to see what the next chapter of the series holds for our favorite characters. In the meantime, fans can watch the trailer down below.
