‘Sex and the City’ Confirmed for Reboot, ‘And Just Like That…’

HBO

After almost 17 years of being off the air, the former show Sex and the City has been given a reboot, titled And Just Like That…

On Sunday, Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie, posted a teaser on her Instagram for the show, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. The hit show concluded the series in February of 2004. There have also been two movies produced with the same cast, which mirror the famous show.

The teaser flashes scenes of New York and does not provide any details on what the show will be about or when it will be released. Though a press release from Warner Media gave fans a little more detail, stating, “The series will follow Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50’s.” Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, will not participate in the series.

Production is set to begin in late spring and take place in New York City. The show is set to produce ten half-hour episodes and stream on HBO Max.
