first bebe rexha, now ava max. this is what happens when misogyny mixes with the brain rotting of stan culture believing that these women are commodities rather than people. https://t.co/EWOsRDc7zB

What is going on with men disguising themselves as 'fans' just to assault female musicians on stage? Is it a *targeted* behavior? The incidents concerning Bebe Rexha and Ava Max took place in an alarmingly *close* time frame. This is scary. Please look out for female musicians 🤍

This comes just two days before Ava Max was also attacked onstage. Max, known for her songs “Sweet but Psycho” and “Kings & Queens,” performed in Los Angeles when a fan jumped on stage. The man managed to slap her face before being dragged away by security. This incident was also captured in a fan video.
Max described the event via Twitter: “He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye.”
The proximity of both events has made many fans and artists wary. The safety of artists, especially female artists, is paramount. Women deserve to feel safe wherever they are, including on stage.
What happened with bebe rexha and ava max this week upsets me so much. Female performers shouldn't be taking high measures for their safety
