The former bandmates of the global superstar were seen vibing out at the NRG Stadium at her latest stop on the Renaissance World Tour. The former members expressed their love and support, along with thousands of fans, as they sang and danced the night away to Queen Bey’s latest and greatest hits.

All five members were back together that night except for one. According to the NYPost, Farrah Franklin, one of the former collaborators who joined the group later, was not at the show.

In 1990, the group began its musical career as Girl’s Tyme. The lineup consisted of six members, featuring Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, Tamar Davis, and sisters Nikki and Nina Taylor. Girl’s Tyme, the singing and rapping girl group, went on to perform and compete on talent shows like Star Search in 1992.

According to Britannica, Girl’s Tyme went through a period of losses, alterations with their group name, and lineup changes. To add, in 1992, Mathew Knowles, Beyonce’s father, stepped in as manager for the group, replacing Davis and the Taylor sisters and adding Luckett.

The group, famously known as Destiny’s Childbecame the biggest-selling R&B girl group in the late 90s. Subsequently, they went on to produce their self-titled album in 1998 featuring singles like “No, No, No.”

Photographs and videos taken by fans during the show beautifully capture the admiration exuded by former bandmates LeToya and LaTavia as they watch Beyoncé in awe.
