Around 11:30 p.m. in Hollywood, the Black Panther actor collided his blue Ferrari into a parked Kia of a similar color.

The LAPD responded to the scene and found no signs of Jordan being impaired by drugs or alcohol. Officers did not perform a field sobriety test.

Therefore, based on images of the vehicle, it was evident that the right fender of Jordan’s car had been torn off, along with one of the tires.

A source with close ties to Jordan has confirmed that the actor is unharmed and in good condition following the accident.

However, he decided to forgo attendance at Sunday night’s Academy Museum Gala as a precautionary measure.

The actor was scheduled to participate in the third annual star-stuffed fundraiser for the Academy Museum gala. The current exhibits showcased the works of director John Waters and Lourdes Portillo, along with the 1991 film Boyz n the Hood.

Christopher Nolan was slated to present Jordan with this year’s Vantage Award, which his sister Jamila accepted on his behalf. The Creed franchise star was supposed to join Hollywood luminaries Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, and Sofia Coppola on the red carpet.

The vehicle crash involved only the actor, and no other individuals were reported to be injured at the accident scene late Saturday night.

Representatives from the Los Angeles Police Department were unavailable for comment in the incident’s aftermath.

As Jordan recovers, he will eventually join Will Smith in the I Am Legend sequel.

As for Jordan, his 2023 has been remarkable. Creed 3, a film in which he both starred and directed, garnered acclaim, earning him talks about returning to direct and star in Creed 4.

The actor has even suggested expanding the Rocky/Creed universe into television. He is officially in world-domination mode. Regrettably, his year is concluding on a less positive note, as reports suggest his involvement in a car accident in Hollywood last Saturday.
