The Vanderpump Rules star is the latest reality TV star to join the iconic Chicago musical revival.

Ariana Madix will make her Broadway debut in an eight-week run as Roxie Hart in the legendary musical Chicago.

“It’s just the biggest dream come true,” Ariana commented in Live with Kelly and Mark on Wednesday. “I cannot believe this is real life. I’m going to cry.”

Madix, as a former musical theatre student at Flagler College, moved to New York after graduating, with dreams of performing on the Great White Way. Now, Madix has finally landed the iconic role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, marking a major milestone in her career.

After her move to New York didn’t work out, she moved to Los Angeles where she landed as a cast member for Vanderpump Rules.

A decade deep into the reality TV show, Madix broke the news that Tom Sandoval, her boyfriend of nine years, had been having a lasting months affair with her friend and fellow castmate, Raquel Leviss.

Madix then turned her heartbreak into several different projects, including starring in Lifetime’s Buying Back My Daughter, a cocktail book, top-notch brand collaborations, and taking on the dance floor in season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, where she reached an impressive third place.

Madix is set to take on the stage of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City. This thrilling performance will go from Monday, January 29, 2024, until March 24.

Chicago, the longest-running American musical, first had the revival open in 1996 and continues to capture audiences with its show.

The production, inspired by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse’s book, features John Kander’s music, and Fred Ebb’s lyrics, which won six Tony awards in 1997. Chicago includes legendary songs like “All That Jazz,” “The Cell-Block Tango,” “When You’re Good to Momma,” “Roxie,” and “Razzle Dazzle.”

Madix will join fellow Bravo stars who have previously taken parts in the show like Erika Girardi and Lisa Rinna from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as well as Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Tickets for Chicago are now available.
