Megan Thee Stallion (Megan Pete) was shot in the foot by rapper Tory Lanez in 2020.
On Saturday, January 27, Kletnoy posted on social media, expressing his love for music and support for various artists, especially female ones, including Minaj and Stallion. He clarified that his comments during the livestream were misconstrued and apologized for any offense.

“I never meant to mock or insult anyone and I have always been a fan of both women,” he concluded. “My apologies if my comments offended or hurt anyone.”
Minaj has been making pointed remarks toward Megan following the release of “Hiss” last week. The song features a lyric alluding to Megan’s Law, the U.S. law requiring disclosure of information about sex offenders.
Some fans speculate that the lyric is aimed at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender convicted in 1995. Others believe it targets Minaj’s older brother, Jelani Maraj, who was convicted in 2020 of predatory sexual assault.

When asked on The Breakfast Club, a comedy podcast, if the line was about anyone in particular, Stallion responded, “A hit dog will holler. Whoever feel it, feel it.”
On January 28, Minaj released a diss track titled “Big Foot” in response to “Hiss.” It received criticism, particularly for a line referencing Megan’s late mother.
Following the event, on January 29, Charlamagne Tha God expressed his opinion, feeling Minaj crossed a line by mentioning Megan’s deceased mother during The Breakfast Club broadcast. “I know we say all is fair in love and rap battles, but man, hearing Nicki keep talking about Megan’s deceased mother, that ain’t it,” Charlamagne stated.
