Beyoncé Continues Her Country Era at New York Fashion Week
Beyoncé shut down New York fashion week with a surprise appearance at the Luar Fall 2024 fashion show.
The Renaissance star, known to be somewhat mysterious, rarely makes public appearances. Her arrival at the show in Brooklyn was a surprise, following the success of her two singles, “16 Carriages,” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
Beyoncé’s arrival was a shock for those attending the show and online fans alike. She has not been to New York fashion week since 2015, and only attended Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton debut this past year.
She is still riding the high of fans’ positive reactions to the announcement of her upcoming album as well. In addition to new music, she also recently announced that she will be launching a new hair care brand called Cécred.

Beyoncé stunned onlookers and cameras in a beaded suit dress, over-the-knee boots to match, and a sleek headdress. The brilliant look was completed with mirrored sunglasses and her now, signature white cowboy hat.
Her look is from Gaurav Gupta’s Spring/Summer 2024 Couture collection, paired nicely with a metallic Luar Ana bag. Moreover, the ensemble aligns perfectly with the star’s recent Western-style fashion.
She attended the show with her mother, Tina Knowles, who also donned an Ana bag. Solange Knowles also attended while her son, Daniel Julez J. Smith walked in the show.
In his introduction to the runway, Smith modeled an oversized leather coat with wide shoulders, and matching leather pants.

The show featured many different looks like the one worn by Smith, in a collection labeled “Deceptionista.” The designer, Raul Lopez, deals with the concept of metrosexuality, and how the softer side of masculinity has come back into style.
