Award-winning actor Elizabeth Olsen is booked and busy for the next few months. From science fiction to romantic comedy, here are some of her upcoming projects.

First, Olsen will star in Todd Solondz’s drama Love Child alongside Charles Melton. According to Variety, the film follows Misty (Olsen), a woman stuck in a loveless marriage and unsatisfied with her husband. Her young son Junior is her only comfort. When a handsome stranger named Easy (Melton) mysteriously appears, Junior hatches a plan to get his father out of the picture so Misty can marry Easy instead.

“I am a long-time fan of Todd’s work and to collaborate with him on this film is a true dream,” she stated. No official date has been announced for Love Child yet, although its projected release is around 2025.

Moreover, according to Screen Daily, Olsen will co-star in a dystopian sci-fi film alongside Alicia Vikander. Directed by debut French filmmaker Fleur Fortuné, The Assessment tells the story of a futuristic world wrecked by climate change. Due to this society has drastically shifted. Everything is monitored, including the lives of a young couple (Olsen and Vikander). The couple is assessed in a controlled environment for seven days. But soon, things start to go awry.

Since this is Fortuné’s debut, seeing what she does with these talented actors and a compelling premise will be exciting.

In addition, A24’s upcoming romantic comedy Eternity will feature Olsen, as well as Miles Teller and Callum Turner. This time, she won’t just be starring in it. The WandaVision actress and Teller will also be executive producers on the film alongside director David Freyne.

Furthermore, according to Deadline, plot details are being kept under wraps as of right now. But the film is rumored to be a romantic comedy in which everybody must decide who they want to permanently spend eternity with. There is also no official release date for this film yet.

Fans of Olsen can be sure to expect a new repertoire of amazing performances from the Emmy-nominated actress in the near future.
