Twenty One Pilots Announce New World Tour
Twenty One Pilots have announced “The Clancy World Tour,” making it their biggest headlining tour so far in their career.
The alternative hip-hop duo formed the group back in 2009 and has been making music ever since. The musicians, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, are the faces of Twenty One Pilots. Together, they have produced the hit songs “Stressed Out,” “Heathens,” “Ride,” and “Car Radio.” Moreover, they currently have six studio albums, and their seventh, Clancy, will be released on May 17.
Twenty One Pilots have released the studio albums Twenty One Pilots (2009), Regional At Best (2011), Vessel (2013), Blurryface (2015), Trench (2018), and Scaled and Icy (2021). Blurryface includes the hit song “Stressed Out,” which peaked at Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single was their first song to enter the top ten on the US charts. Fans of the pair are highly anticipating their new album. So far, Twenty One Pilots has released two new singles, “Overcompensate” and “Next Semester.” Furthermore, both singles are accompanied by a music video, adding to the excitement for the album.
Twenty One Pilots last toured in 2022 for the “Icy Tour” in North America. The tour was to promote their sixth studio album, Scaled and Icy. They sold out venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
The duo will go to the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Moreover, the promotion for this upcoming tour had many fans waiting in anticipation of the official announcement. Many concert venues around the world have been posting photos of the band in their venue, teasing that the duo will be coming to their location. In addition, some of these venues include the Barclays Center in New York, the WiZink Center in Spain, and the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
