On April 6, a large Ice Spice inflatable took to the streets of New York to promote the rapper’s collaboration with Alexander Wang.

Ice Spice’s animated counterpart recently made its New York debut. A large inflatable of the “Deli” rapper appeared in the city attached to a flatbed truck. The inflatable was designed to promote the rapper’s new collection with Alexander Wang titled “Nocturna.”

It is unclear whether the inflatable will be placed somewhere or was intended to be driven around for promotional use. Fans were quick to take pictures and videos of the inflatable, which depicts the rapper lying on her side in a black cami dress with a black and white purse in front of her. Her iconic orange hair and smug appearance make the inflatable easily recognizable.

According to Variety, “the campaign fuses fashion and rap, capturing the four-time Grammy-nominated rapper in the brand’s staple ready-to-wear pieces including leather, hotfix denim and the latest in their Dome program.” Prices from the collection range from $150 to $1,495. In a statement, Ice Spice reflected, “As an artist, I’m always challenging myself on how I can contribute to culture in a way that drives things forward, and Alexander Wang is a great vehicle for that with this incredibly bold and global campaign.”

This marks Ice Spice’s second major brand collaboration, the first being with Dunkin Donuts. Released in September 2023, the Munchkins Drink consisted of Munchkins, frozen coffee, sugar, and cream, topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. The drink quickly went viral online, with many fans posting reviews on TikTok. A commercial with the rapper co-starring Ben Affleck celebrated the release.

Fans can expect new music from the Bronx rapper shortly. On her Instagram, Ice Spice teased that her debut album, y2k, is set to drop sometime this year. In an interview with Billboard, the “Barbie World” rapper hinted at the project further: “I think this is some of my best work…it’s not going to be too long… it’s going to be sweet and to the point.” Ice Spice will also perform at Coachella weekends one and two on April 13 and 20.
