The news comes a few days after the Gypsy Rose, 32, filed for divorce after two years of marriage. Blanchard took to her private Facebook page to share the news.
“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou,” she wrote at the time. “I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now, I need time to let myself find … who I am.”
The two met while Blanchard was serving a 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder for plotting the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, back in 2015 with her boyfriend at the time, Nicholas Godejohn. The two first met in 2020 when Anderson wrote to Blanchard during her time behind bars.
After confirming the breakup, Blanchard has been seen in Louisiana with her ex-fiance, Ken Urker. The two were engaged in 2018 but decided to split the following year. The two recently got matching wolf tattoos.

Since the announcement, Anderson has spoken up about how he feels about the events. “I’m not doing well with it, For me, it just came out of the blue.” he told the Daily Mail.
Anderson also talked about how surprised he was that Blanchard and Urker were still close “I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him.” In a later Instagram post, Anderson told his followers they will see what “really happened” when their docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, releases in two months.
