On April 24, Keke Palmer took to her socials to announce the release of her latest memoir, Master of Me.

Keke Palmer, also known online as Keke “Keep A Job” Palmer, has a new project to share with fans. The actress, singer, and television host shared that she will release a new memoir titled Master of Me. On her Instagram, Palmer opened up about why she decided to write the book. She states, “Writing this book scares me. When you write a book, you are sharing who you are and what you are going through at that time. I’m excited to share the next chapter of my ever-growing journey in life with you all. I get real; the pain, the joy, the triumph.”

The Emmy-winning actress is not a stranger to the publishing industry. In 2021, Palmer published a collection of short stories based on her alter-ego, Lady Miss Jacqueline. The series, aptly titled, Southern Belle Insults, was co-written by romance novelist Jasmine Guillory and is described as “a fiercely funny series of short stories set in the fully realized world of Keke’s viral phenomenon.”

In 2017, the Nope actress released her first memoir I Don’t Belong to You: Quiet the Noise and Find Your Voice. Named after her first single since her self-titled mixtape in 2012, the book is an inspirational guide that “encourages young people to change their mindset and live with more freedom, confidence, and love as they navigate the tough terrain of living in the twenty-first century,” according to its description. Within its pages, Palmer unabashedly addresses various life topics such as sexuality, race, anxiety, and body image.

Fans can expect equally honest and intriguing reflections in Master of Me. Since the release of her last book, Palmer has expanded upon her acting and music careers. She has also received numerous accolades such as two Primetime Emmys, had a child, and established her own media production company, KeyTV Network.

Master of Me is available for pre-order and will be released on November 19. Fans who pre-order the book and sign up for her mailing list will receive a personalized journal entry from Palmer herself (proof of purchase required). Those who order five or more copies of the memoir and sign up for her mailing list will be entered to win a 15-minute Personal Growth Call with Palmer (proof of purchase required).
