Flesh of the Gods stars Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac
Kristen Stewart will star alongside Oscar Isaac in an 80s vampire thriller directed by Panos Cosmatos, Flesh of the Gods.
After recently starring in the A24 film Love Lies Bleeding, Stewart tackles another 80s-themed project. Set in Los Angeles, Flesh of the Gods follows a married couple, Alex (Stewart) and Raoul (Isaac), who “each evening descend from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into the city’s electric nighttime realm.”
“When they cross paths with a mysterious and enigmatic figure known as Nameless and her hard-partying cabal, the pair are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.” Cosmatos describes the film as “propulsive and hypnotic.” Additionally, he ensures the audience it “will take [them] on a hot rod joy ride deep into the glittering heart of hell.”

Andrew Kevin Walker, the screenwriter for Flesh of the Gods, is working beside Cosmatos. Walker’s portfolio includes notable thrillers, such as Seven and The Killers. In addition, Adam McKay and Betsy Koch are to produce the film. McKay couldn’t contain his excitement, sharing with Variety, “This director, this writer, these incredible actors, vampires, choice ’80s punk, style and attitude for miles… that’s the film we’re bringing you today. We think it’s wildly commercial and wildly artful.”
Although the film has yet to start production, many fans have already begun to showcase their support online.
The Love Lies Bleeding actress, known for her portrayal as Bella Swan in the Twilight franchise, caused a commotion on social media. Following the cast announcement for Flesh of the Gods, audiences expressed their excitement regarding Stewart’s return to the vampire genre.

As for Isaac, Flesh of the Gods is not his only upcoming project. In January of this year, it was confirmed the Moon Knight actor would take on the role of Dr. Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro’s film adaptation of Frankenstein. Set to join the cast alongside him are Mia Goth and Jacob Elordi.
