Sabrina Carpenter Celebrates her 25 Birthday in New York
Actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter stepped out in a stunning yellow dress Saturday night to celebrate her 25 birthday in Brooklyn, New York.
The “Espresso” singer posted a photo dump on Instagram of her fun birthday celebration with friends. The first photo was taken in a car, dressed in her gorgeous yellow dress, close enough to see the sequin detailing along the trim. She included photos of her hilarious birthday cake, polaroids with friends, the New York City skyline, karaoke, and more cute pictures to celebrate the occasion.
Her dress was inspired by Andie Anderson’s yellow dress from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. The glowy, yellow slip dress featured an open back and a side slit, along with sequin detailing on the top trim. There is also a story behind how she got the dress. On Monday morning, a Tiktok user named Jules posted a storytime video to her page explaining how she owned the dress Carpenter bought. In the video, she talks about owning a small Depop shop with less than 2,000 followers where she sources and sells unique vintage clothing.

The singer’s stylist did an incredible job because the birthday photos turned out stunning. She paired the dress with matching accessories, including a white Hermés Kelly bag, a flashy yellow teardrop diamond necklace, and a pair of strappy gold Christian Louboutin heels.
Carpenter was joined by close friends, with guests including her boyfriend, Barry Keoghan, and friends and collaborators Jack Antonoff, Clairo, Addison Rae, Conan Gray, Ice Spice, Taylor Zakhar Perez, and more. She posed in photos with each of them, including a mix of cute vintage-looking Polaroid prints as well.

The birthday cake was nothing short of iconic, a rectangular white cake with yellow roses and shimmery gold candles to match her outfit. On top of the cake was a meme, with the viral photo of Leonardo Dicaprio and the text “Nooo don’t turn 25. You’re so sexy aha.”
This cake design has been popular for people’s 25 birthdays over the last few years. It references how the actor always dates someone under 25 years old, even as he gets older, and serves as a popular meme in this age group. Perfect for a 25 birthday.

Carpenter has been making waves in the music industry, especially with her hit song “Espresso,” which is taking over the radio and music charts. One full month after its release, it is still trending all over social media and will definitely be our new summer pop anthem this year.
The singer has had a busy schedule over the past month, performing at Coachella, performing and appearing in sketches on Saturday Night Live next weekend, attending the Meta Gala last week, and her partnership with Marc Jacobs also announced last week where she will be the face of the Pre-Fall 2024 campaign.
