Taylor Swift to Feature in Gracie Abrams’ New Album
Gracie Abrams’ new album The Secret of Us, coming out on June 21, will feature Taylor Swift on its fifth track, titled “us.”
During the summer of 2023, Abrams opened for 31 of Taylor Swift’s shows. On July 31, Abrahms performed with Swift during her surprise song sections in Cincinnati, Ohio. Swift played acoustic guitar while Abrams was on the piano to hit single, “I miss you, I’m sorry.”
On April 19, Taylor Swift released her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which became an overnight success. Fans stayed up all night listening to her 17 released songs, desperately waiting for 2 a.m. for a surprise: 15 additional songs.
Following the release of Swift’s album, she came out with a music video for her most listened-to song, “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone. The black and white video caught the attention of her fans due to the appeal and story behind the piece.
Swift’s “Fortnight” music video hid an easter egg that many did not scope out until recent news of Gracie Abrams’ new album. In the music video, a book can be seen placed on a shelf, titled, “US,” Swift is later seen reading that book alongside Post Malone in a later scene.
One week ago, Gracie Abrams was a guest on The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon discussing her new album. The “I should hate you” singer stated that performing with Swift “was the craziest privilege.” Swift and Abrams’ friendship grew and fans adored Abrams once she stepped out on the stage. Abrams explained she took every moment she had and “watched from every place possible” to learn Swift’s ways.

Gracie Abrams posted the titles of her new upcoming songs on Instagram, with number five titled “us,” featuring Taylor Swift. Furthermore, thier fans were astounded at Swift and Abrams’ work behind the scenes. Baffled at how they had missed the hints laid out in front of them. Nonetheless, their fans are ecstatic for Swift and Abrams’ collaboration.
