Ariana Grande Drops New Teaser for ‘The Boy Is Mine’ Music Video
On May 27, Ariana Grande released a 10-second preview of the music video for her next single, “The Boy Is Mine,” on Instagram.
In the clip, a man places his drink down while filling his bathroom sink with ice. A scaly hand reaches through the door as he dunks his face into the sink. After that, “The Boy is Mine” flashes on the screen before revealing the release date, June 7.

Since Eternal Sunshine was released, “The Boy is Mine” has quickly become a favorite on the album. On the Zach Sang Series, Grande confirmed that “The Boy is Mine” is her inspired version of “Fantasize,” a leaked song intended for a TV show. She revealed, “It’s just like a sexier, naughtier one, and I think it’s more provocative than the rest.” The pop star also shared that the song interpolates the 1998 summer hit “The Boy is Mine” by Brandy and Monica.

The song, which Grande has labeled a “Bad Girl Anthem,” has exploded on social media, and a dance number on TikTok has become synonymous with it.
Christian Breslauer will direct the music video. He worked on the Grammy winner’s last two videos, “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).” On his Instagram, Breslauer commented, “ACT III… soon.”
Keep your eyes open for Grande’s “The Boy is Mine” music video coming next week.
