Former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello is entering a new era of her solo career with a brand new album featuring collaborations with your favorite artists.

First, Cabello has been alluding to the newest era of her solo career for quite some time now. With her last album, Familia, released over two years ago, it was time to start anew. Now, the artist is releasing C, XOXO, a love letter to what she now calls home: Miami. With fast cars and hyper aesthetics already on display in recent music videos, she wants fans to experience the Miami lifestyle through her music.

The journey to the release date of her fourth studio album in her solo career started earlier this year, already giving us hints as to who will surprise fans as a feature. Having already announced Playboi Carti and Lil Nas X as two notable features on her album, Cabello is also sending a message on how she wants fans to view the new project, officially releasing June 28.

“The voice that I found with my new album has this big baddie energy vibe,” the “Bam Bam” singer stated. She also added that her blonde locks’ debut inspired a transformational period, unlike previous projects.

“I think the blonde was me staying true to that feeling. With the hair, it was like, ‘How do I tell people, visually, that this is my new era?’ Sometimes you need the physicality to let them know, ‘Oh, this is a new thing, a new character,'” she added.

Other artists featured in the upcoming project include City Girls, The-Dream, BLP Kosher, and most notably Drake. The rapper will have two features, one being a two-minute interlude where Cabello provides background vocals. With one song dedicated entirely to Drake, fans are curious of the new friendship evolving.

When the pair were spotted earlier this year on a boat together, the singer fueled rumors swirling the situation by stating “It was vacation plus some work.” Their trip back in March fueled creative minds as the two songs featuring Drake have their official titles: “Hot Uptown” and “Uuugly (interlude).” The track name has also been announced for the City Girls collaboration: “Dade County Dreaming.”

While anticipation builds for the upcoming project, Cabello has released two music videos before the official album release next month. Check out the “I Luv It” music video below.
