Camila Cabello Hints at New Music With Jimmy Butler’s Jersey
On March 5, Camila Cabello attended the Miami Heat versus Detroit Pistons game wearing a jersey in the stands, hinting at new music.
Cabello had some help from star players, including Jimmy Butler, to promote her new era of artistry. The Miami Heat player was spotted wearing a jersey with “I Luv It” printed on the back, rumored to be the title of her newest single. This is not Butler’s first time infiltrating the music industry, as he just appeared in a new music video with Fall Out Boy in his iconic Emo Jimmy Butler persona.

The pair took to Instagram and Twitter to promote her music again after a successful night for the Heat, scoring a 118-110 home win.
New music is definitely on the horizon, as the former Fifth Harmony member has been dropping subtle hints since the end of last year. “See you next year, b*tches,” Cabello teased in a series of photos posted to Instagram on December 28.

The “My Oh My” singer is entering her latest era as a solo artist, debuting platinum blonde hair and making guest appearances on podcasts like Call Her Daddy.
“I feel like it’s just been a year of, like, the theme has very much been ‘play’ and ‘transformation’ and changing and being brave,” the artist stated. Cabello also dished on hot topics such as her ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes and the vacation photos of her and Drake that went viral earlier this year.
“First of all, I wouldn’t say straight-up vacation… It was vacation plus some work,” she mentioned.
It turns out Cabello and Drake are close friends, which led to her asking the rapper if he would listen to her new album. He agreed, which led to the friend’s trip. “I played him my album. He loved it and I thought that he would. I was so excited.” The artist told Alex Cooper, host of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
With notable promotions and approval from top stars in the industry, it’s safe to say Cabello’s new music is coming sooner than we think, and her new era is going to be a memorable one.
