Sabrina Carpenter to Release New Album Short n’ Sweet
Sabrina Carpenter has announced the release of her upcoming sixth, studio album, Short n’ Sweet, dropping this August. After a stellar year for the budding pop star, she has yet to show any signs of slowing down.
She took to Instagram to deliver the exciting news to her fans. “Short n’ Sweet” MY NEW ALBUM IS COMING OUT AUGUST 23rd!!!! this project is quite special to me and i hope it’ll be something special to you too,” the artist captioned the post.
Now, if you’re involved in the singer’s SMS group, you received a special text message from Carpenter herself stating, “we’ll keep this brief: the album is called short n’ sweet. coming out on 8/23!!!”
While still high off of the momentum from her recent single, “Espresso,” fans have waited anxiously for new music. “i just know this album is going to be a MASTERPIECE,” one fan commented. “Yes title,” Abbott Elementary’s Quinta Brunson, who has praised Carpenter in the past, wrote.

Apparently, that’s not the only surprise she has for fans. In the caption, she mentioned, “i also have a surprise coming for you on thursday night so keep an eye out!!” Fans are already expecting the tour that has been heavily speculated about for quite some time.
Not to mention, as of today, the tour tab on her website has been updated. At the moment, there are only two dates, including this week’s Governor’s Ball in New York City and the Capital Summertime Ball in the United Kingdom. We are sure we can expect a lengthy list of dates soon.

Since the release of her last album, Emails I Can’t Send, in 2022, Carpenter has risen to new levels of pop stardom as she’s dominated the charts with singles including, “Nonsense,” “Feather,” and, of course, what most have deemed Song of the Summer, “Espresso.”
She’s been the face of fashion campaigns, took a stroll down the MET Gala carpet, and worked extra late to make her debut on Saturday Night Live. There is no stopping the young star at the moment.
