The first of these series debuting on Disney+ on June 4, is the brand new Star Wars series The Acolyte. Created by Leslye Headland (Russian Doll), the series is set 100 years before any other live-action Star Wars content. This series explores a time known as the High Republic and focuses on a dangerous mystery that heralds the return of the dark side. The series stars Carrie Anne Moss (The Matrix), Lee Jung-Jae (Squid Game), and Dafne Keen (Logan) among others. The Acolyte will release two episodes as part of its premiere, after which the remaining six will arrive weekly. You’ll be able to watch The Acolyte here on Disney+.

Next is the return of the Emmy-nominated Amazon series The Boys. This superhero satire will launch its fourth season on June 13 with a three-episode premiere. Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, and Anthony Starr, season 4 will continue the bloody battle between The Boys and The Seven. This season will begin incorporating elements from the spinoff series Gen V, released last year, with several characters jumping to the main series. You can watch both The Boys and Gen V on Amazon Prime Video.

Just three days later will come probably the most anticipated TV series of the year; season two of House of the Dragon. The Game of Thrones spinoff released its first season in 2022 to critical and audience acclaim. After all the buildup, the second season seems ready to capture the epic dragon-on-dragon war the first season set up. You can expect massive battles, deep political intrigue, war crimes, and many dragons in the second season, coming to Max at 9 p.m. EST on June 16. You can catch up on season 1 here on Max.

The final series releasing in June is the third season of the FX cooking drama The Bear. Starring Jeremy Allen White (The Iron Claw), Ayo Edibiri (Inside-Out 2), and Ebon Moss-Bacharach (The Fantastic Four), season 3 will release all its episodes on June 27. White stars as Carman Berzatto, a chef who strives to turn his family’s deli into a Michelin-star restaurant. The series is coming off a successful awards season, with another seemingly all but guaranteed. In addition, fans won’t have to wait long for a fourth season either, which is shooting right now. You can catch up on the first two seasons here on Hulu.

With these four massive series, June is shaping up to be the biggest month for television this year. All four of these series have the potential to be massive hits with both critics and audiences, and we shouldn’t be surprised to see any of them campaigning for awards come fall.
