Pride Month 2024: All of the Exciting Celebrations So Far
Pride Month is now well underway, and celebrities have been supporting the LGBTQ+ community in countless ways. From parades to performances, check out how your faves, such as Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Kylie Minogue, and more, are celebrating Pride 2024.
West Hollywood Pride, including the OUTLOUD Music Festival (May 31-June 2), welcomed some big names to the stage and the parade. Some of the most spectacular performances of OUTLOUD included Adam Lambert, Keke Palmer, Kesha, Trixie Mattel, Doechii, and Janelle Monáe.
Kylie Minogue, Orville Peck, and Diplo shared the stage at one point to perform their new song, “Midnight Ride,” which was released on June 7.

Niecy Nash, who announced her marriage to Jessica Betts in 2020, also attended the event. She shared the experience online with some beautiful photos of the happy couple.
Also in attendance was Kehlani, whose float and parade presence called attention to the crisis in Gaza. Palestinian flags were proudly raised alongside Pride flags, and attendees peacefully chanted “Free Palestine.” Kehlani’s outspoken support of Gaza has been steadfast, and it was so admirable to see that activism continue.
One fan tweeted a clip of their view of the float.

Katy Perry shared her support of Pride Month online with a cleverly edited clip of one controversial commencement speech, quipping, “fixed this for my girls, my graduates, and my gays — you can do anything, congratulations and happy pride.”
Jessica Madsen, who portrays Cressida in Bridgerton, also expressed her support online. Madsen shared that she is “in love with a woman, loud about it and proud about it!” We couldn’t be happier for her, and we wish her and her partner the best.
The Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television on June 7 welcomed Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Lisa Ann Walter of Abbott Elementary. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez of Pose also attended in a beautiful fitted gown. Rodriguez announced that her new single, “I AM,” a “Pride anthem,” will be released June 13. Readers can pre-save the song now.
It’s been a whirlwind of a Pride Month already, and we’re only two weeks in. We can’t wait to see what else this month has in store. Happy Pride.
