Karol G, already an established powerhouse of Latin music, shows no signs of slowing down. We can’t wait to see what’s on her agenda next.
With two new singles out, a European tour underway, and countless additional accolades, the artist is on a roll. Most recently, her summer “Provenza” video has hit one billion views, just two years after its release.
On the Billboard charts, “Provenza” hit Number 1 on both the Hot Latin Songs and Latin Airplay charts in 2022, Billboard reported. The sun-soaked video, directed by Pedro Artola, celebrates the natural beauty of Lanzarote.
As a certified hit machine, the Colombian artist boasts several other videos with over a billion views– including, but not limited to “Tusa” with Nicki Minaj, “TQG” with Shakira, and “Bichota.” Her 2017 video with Bad Bunny for “Ahora Me Llama” also holds this coveted status.
We look forward to seeing what her new single, “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” and its accompanying music video, achieve. The track and video were released on June 20, a welcome surprise for fans, who are already praising it as the song of the year.

Sporting her signature pink hair, she performed a snippet of the new song the evening before its release while performing in London, sharing the moment online.
Karol G took the opportunity to share how the Dominican Republic’s culture inspired the track and its merengue elements. She expressed admiration for the vibrant culture’s music, hospitality, and energy, sharing how the DR has become a sanctuary for her.
It’s only right that the busy artist gets a little rest and relaxation, as we’re in the midst of yet another tour, and “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” is the second single she’s released this year. The first, “CONTIGO,” with Tiesto, premiered on Valentine’s Day, a fitting choice for the romantic track.
Her current tour, featuring some of Europe’s finest stadiums, concludes in late July with four nights in Madrid. Karol G is constantly raising the bar, and we’re thrilled to congratulate her on everything she’s achieved so far. It’s really no surprise that she was honored as Billboard‘s Woman of the Year.
