Mother-Daughter Duos Stun at Balenciaga’s New Fashion Show

Balenciaga’s Fall 2024 Couture Show last week in Paris was a magnet for Hollywood’s favorite mother-daughter duos. From Queen Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon and Princess Margaret to Kim Kardashian and North West, Paris Fashion Week has welcomed some of history’s most influential mother-daughter figures. 

This year, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, and Maya Rudolph sat front-row at the Balenciaga event with their daughters, each pair dazzling in their stylish coordinating looks. Transforming the event into a heartwarming family gathering, these women turned heads with their impeccable style.

Oscar-nominated actress Watts and her 15-year-old daughter, Kai Schreiber, stunned at Balenciaga’s show with their color-contrasting monochrome looks. Watts stepped out in an ivory skirt and matching blouse, featuring dramatic shoulders and a deep V-neckline. Inspired by Old Hollywood, she wore her outfit with black sunglasses, pearl statement earrings, and a curled bob that resembled Marilyn Monroe’s. 

Schreiber, who Watts shares with her ex-partner Liev Schrieber, dressed in an all-black ensemble. She styled a black lace V-neck top with a sophisticated black midi skirt. Similar to her mother, Schreiber wore black boots and black sunglasses, highlighting their striking resemblance. 

Comedian Rudolph and her 18-year-old daughter, Pearl Anderson, also arrived wearing contrasting yet chic outfits. The Saturday Night Live star opted for a colorful look, wearing a multi-shade blue silk midi dress with flared sleeves, a part of Balenciaga’s 2025 resort collection. She complemented the dress with statement earrings and black pointed-toe heels. 

Meanwhile, Anderson chose a classic Balenciaga piece: a long-sleeved black maxi dress with a mock neck. She also tied back her hair and accessorized her look with a simple pair of earrings. This timeless look highlighted not only Anderson’s elegance but also her resemblance to her iconic mother. 

Oscar-winning actress Kidman rocked her appearance at Balenciaga’s show with her 15-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. The women looked like mirror images of each other with their similar outfits, as they both opted for skintight black dresses.

The Big Little Lies actress chose a floor-length black sparkly dress with short sleeves, while her daughter wore a velvet long-sleeved mock neck mini dress. Their long ash-blonde hair, square black sunglasses, and black pointed heels furthered the mother-daughter duo’s twinning looks.
