Sabrina Carpenter had a run-in with the pyrotechnics on stage during her set at the Outside Lands festival.

Carpenter put on quite the show at Outside Lands. She performed a variety of her popular hits, as well as some newer songs that will appear on her upcoming album, Short n’ Sweet. The show also had a really fun and engaging intro. It was reminiscent of the ’60s era and movies like Hairspray, which tie into the singer’s mod, vintage-inspired style.

The show went on with fans screaming, singing, and dancing. The “Espresso” singer sounded phenomenal on the stage and looked absolutely amazing in her sparkly Polly Pocket dresses. Carpenter is bringing back pop divas with her ability to sing and dance at the same time.

Moreover, the new pop princess also invited singer-songwriter Kacy Musgraves onstage to perform “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.”

However, in a video on X during what seems to be the end of a song, the fireworks going off at the back of the set where the pop star was at the time got a little too close to her. Seeing this, the “Please Please Please” singer let out a few frightened screams as she saw the flash in front of her eyes. She jokingly remarked, “Oh my god,” before getting on with the performance. The artist appears to be okay, as she took to Instagram to thank everyone involved.

The “Nonsense” singer is catching fire in her career and thankfully not on stage. After the success of her two latest singles, “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” we are so excited for her upcoming album. Stay tuned for Short n’ Sweet, set to come out on August 23, and the tour following its debut.
