Stanley Announces Stunning New Collaboration with Barbie
Stanley and Barbie have teamed up for the ultimate collaboration to celebrate Barbie’s 65 anniversary. The eight-cup collection releases on September 16.
After collaborating with fashion and lifestyle brand LoveShackFancy this month, Stanley has another surprise up their sleeve. Next month, Stanley will be partnering with the iconic Barbie to celebrate the brand’s anniversary. Not only is Barbie an award-winner, favorite toy, and fashionista, but now she has her own Stanley Cup collection.
The pop culture icon will be brought to life in a series of eight limited-edition cups. Each design is inspired by its own story relating to the Barbie brand, making for the perfect conversation-starters amongst Barbie lovers.
Moreover, all eight cups represent different eras of Barbie, taking fans back in time to experience different aesthetics. With an array of colors and sizes, you can pick which cup is perfect for you to compliment your style.
The first cup is the “Barbie Icon” cup, arriving in both 30 and 40-ounce Quenchers. With sparkly pink accents and the Barbie logo circling the entire cup, this is the perfect addition for a pink lover’s collection.
If you are more into retro designs, however, you can check out the “1959 Original.” Paying homage to the first-ever Barbie that was released in March 1959, the cup features black and white stripes as well as a pair of blue sunglasses. If you were always jealous of Barbie’s iconic one-piece swimsuit and glasses, you can now replicate the outfit by purchasing the “1959 Original” cup.
Next, we have the “‘60s Twist ‘N Turn.” With a pink-to-orange ombré effect surrounding the cup, pink and purple Barbies take center stage in signature dance poses reminiscent of the 1960s.
For a more 1970s-inspired cup, fans can purchase the “‘70s Superstar,” a magenta-colored cup with gold sparkles.
Additionally, for the 1980s, fans have the option of not one, but three limited-edition cups. The “‘80s Dynamite” features a variety of fireworks on a hot pink cup. Orange and eggplant-colored fireworks tie the whole cup together. There are also disco balls in the center of the fireworks with “Dance the Night” vibes.
Another cup inspired by the 1980s is the “‘80s Peaches ‘N Cream.” With a solid peachy cream color, pink flowers grace the cup along with gold bows. With a classic, light pink, pastel look, this cup is essential for all the girls who are currently obsessed with the “coquette” trend.
Furthermore, there is the “‘80s Western Ken” cup, a black cup with stunning silver accents that plays on Ken’s classic, Western outfit. Fans will feel like they are Ryan Gosling himself in the Barbie movie. The ultimate combo of Western vibes and cowboys unite for Ken-lovers everywhere. Barbie has her own set of cups; it’s time Ken has his own too.
Lastly, if you are more into black, purples, and blues (and a hint of grunge), the “‘90s Rockers” is the cup to purchase. Stars and beaming lights dance around the cup, making it a great addition for rock lovers and concert-goers to hydrate after a long night.
Each cup will arrive in the 40-ounce Quencher size, with the exception of the “Barbie Icon” cup arriving in both the 30 and 40-ounce sizes. Each cup will retail for $60 USD, with the exception of the 30 oz Quencher retailing for $50 USD.
