Jennifer Lawrence reveals support for Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 U.S. Elections.

The Hunger Games actress has long been vocal about social issues, such as women’s rights, police brutality, and voting laws. Recently, she expressed concerns over reproductive rights, particularly in light of the potential for Donald Trump to return to the White House.

“I’m voting for Kamala Harris because I think she’s an amazing candidate and I know that she will do whatever she can to protect reproductive rights,” she told People Magazine. “That’s the most important thing, is to not let somebody into the White House who is going to ban abortion.”

Donald Trump has repeatedly highlighted his role in the overturning of Roe v. Wade in June 2022. Lawrence believes the recent abortion laws “are made by random white men, not healthcare providers.”

In addition to her acting career, Jennifer Lawrence has been involved in producing documentaries that address global social and political issues. Bread and Roses focuses on the Taliban's control over women in Afghanistan, while Zurawski v Texas covers a 2023 lawsuit in support of abortion rights. These projects were developed with the involvement of political figures like Hillary Clinton and activist Malala Yousafzai.
