Olivia Rodrigo Becomes New Global Brand Ambassador for Lancôme
After the recent release of her concert film, GUTS World Tour, Olivia Rodrigo has revealed she is the new global brand ambassador for Lancôme.
L’Oréal-owned French beauty brand Lancôme has added a new name to its list of global brand ambassadors. Olivia Rodrigo now joins celebrities like Zendaya, Joy Sunday, Emma Chamberlain, and more as a global brand ambassador for the brand. The announcement was made on social media on Monday, showing the three-time Grammy award winner, with her signature look and megaphone.
“I am incredibly proud to welcome Olivia to the Lancôme family. We’re all captivated by her striking personality and immense talent, and inspired by her commitment to positive change—which we value deeply at Lancôme—pouring her true heart and emotion into everything she does,” stated Lancôme International Brand President, Françoise Lehmann.
“Turning personal stories into music that resonates universally, few artists of her generation connect with this many people across continents and generations like Olivia.” In a statement, the singer shared, “Embracing your individuality is so important in beauty since there are many unrealistic expectations placed on young women today.”
The Lancôme website has published the must-haves for “OLIVIA’S OBSESSED LOOK.” Her eye look consists of the Lash Idôle Waterproof Mascara with the Idôle Liner. Her iconic red lip comes from L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick covered with the Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss. The look is topped off with a spritz of the Idôle Eau De Parfum.
The five-item bundle retails for $233.00 USD. However, if you’re going for a more “DÉJÀ VU” look, you can get the Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss, Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Full Coverage Concealer, Clarifique Double Treatment Essence, La Base Pro Face & Makeup Primer, and Idôle Eau De Parfum, for $312.00 USD.
Now that it’s official, Lancôme has shifted its website and social media into an Olivia Rodrigo theme. Lancôme’s social media profile pictures now have the initials “OR” in the color purple. A YouTube video announcing the collaboration now gives fans a bit of insight into their upcoming activities and campaigns. Their Instagram even changed their highlights, spelling out “Ôlivia” with a bunch of other icons that showcase the singer’s eras.
