Beloved teen idols turned mature musicians, the Jonas Brothers, are set to celebrate 20 years of music and fame starting with a kick-off at ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

In an Instagram post, the brothers shared their performer poster with the caption, “We can’t wait to ring in the New Year and kick off our 20th anniversary as a group on @rockineve with @ryanseacrest.”

Right after the ball drops and champagne pops, the band will take the Times Square stage for a career-spanning performance, featuring all of their greatest hits since forming in 2005. For the band as a whole, this will be their third time performing on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, but a fifth time for Nick and Joe, who’ve also performed their solo work in past years.

They join the NYE lineup with TLC, Kesha, Blake Shelton, and Luis Fonsi, who’s performing from Puerto Rico and also paying homage to his 25-year-long career.

The night’s performance offers a preview of what’s to come in the band’s 20-year anniversary celebration. While they’ve remained tight-lipped so far, they surprised fans with a special surprise during the final U.S. show of “THE TOUR” in Brooklyn, NY, last December.

On every seat was a card that read, “Thank you for a great 2023. See you for the 20th anniversary tour in 2025.”

There are also glimpses of projects that may or may not be released during this new era. For example, their memoir Blood, originally slated for 2022, has been removed from the website, sparking speculation that it’s being revised following new life events.

Joe’s solo album Music for People Who Believe in Love has been delayed from its October release and could now arrive in 2025. Meanwhile, Nick, who will star in The Last Five Years on Broadway in April, recently teased an unreleased song on social media.

As we ring in the new year, we can also expect a year of Jonas overload for fans who’ve been around since 2005 to those who recently joined the ride.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will air live on New Year’s Eve starting at 8/7c only on ABC.
