In a week full of announcements from the band of brothers, the Jonas Brothers had another surprise in store for their amazing fans. The Jonas Brothers and Marshmello dropped the video for their new single, “Leave Before You Love Me” on May 24.

The video dropped the day after the single’s live debut on the Billboard Music Awards the day before. In a Twitter post, the band announced the release of the video with, “SURPRISE!! The #LeaveBeforeYouLoveMe video just dropped on @marshmellomusic‘s YouTube channel.”

“Leave Before You Love Me” sets the tone for a whole new era, which has a different aesthetic from what fans are used to seeing. Their Happiness Begins era was full of rich jewel tones and bright neon graphics. This new video is the complete opposite as it features dark blues and grey tones, matching the theme of the single.

The video goes back and forth between a train station set and, the retelling of the story told throughout the song. Between scenes of the brothers riding the train, one guy is a bit unlucky as he wakes up to a note that said, “I’m sorry, xoxo.” coming from the woman he spent the evening with, she left before she could love him.

Fans have shared their excitement for the new Jonas Brothers content all over Twitter and Instagram. Not only is the video catching the attention of fans, but fellow performers have chimed in as well. Former One Direction member Niall Horan commented on the Instagram release. Horan commented, “Nice group of chaps,” which has fans of both groups begging for a collaboration.

Everyone will be able to relive this performance during their Remember This tour which kicks off this summer. Until then, fans can watch the “Leave Before You Love Me” video below.
