The Studio New Series From Seth Rogen Premieres Tomorrow
A brand new comedy series premieres March 25 on Apple TV+. Star and creator Seth Rogen has assembled a cast of main characters and guest stars for The Studio.
In The Studio, Seth Rogen is Matt Remick, who just landed his dream job as the head of Continental Studios, a floundering production company on the verge of bankruptcy. But Remick wants to have his cake and eat it too, making artsy films that will break the box office.
Every party, set design, and staff meeting could make or break them. Remick and his team of executives battle crazy artists, corporate overlords, and each other in the name of making films. Is Remick ready for Hollywood? Or will it eat him alive and spit him out?
Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn join Rogen as part of The Studio‘s main cast.
This new dramedy, produced by Lionsgate Television for Apple TV+, was written, directed, and executive-produced by Rogen and his co-creator Evan Goldberg.
The Studio has been described as a love-hate letter to Hollywood, the creative process, and all the ups and downs in between. Ambitious film aficionados like Remick and his team try to find their niche in an entertainment industry that fluctuates with society’s social and economic changes.
The first season of The Studio will consist of ten episodes, but it is unclear whether this new dramedy will be a limited series or a long-running one. Or worse, the dreaded third option: getting canceled right as it starts to get good.
But beyond the main cast, Rogen has assembled a lineup of actors to guest star that rivals that of Avengers: Endgame.
The full guest star cast for ‘THE STUDIO’ has been revealed, including:

Of this crazy mirage of guest stars, many of them will not have actual roles. Many of them are listed as “himself” or “herself”—very meta of you, Rogen.
