On fashion’s biggest night, every detail matters – including the glam. Rachel Zegler graced the Met gala carpet in a look that felt equal parts ethereal and intentional with the help of Beauty Creations and celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles.

In keeping with the night’s theme, “Costume Art,” the Evita star donned a Prabal Gurung gown and a sheer blindfold inspired by the 1833 painting “The Execution of Lady Jane Grey.” Given the cream tones and romanticism of her ensemble, Stiles kept the palette soft and understated.

“Gentle washes of color, no hard lines, and soft rosy and caramel tones were the basis for the look,” she told us in a statement.

Fiona Stiles Breaks Down the Look

With the eyes slightly hidden, the complexion became the focal point. To achieve that effect, Stiles focused on building a seamless, skin-first base, one designed to withstand a full night of flashing cameras while still looking effortlessly radiant.

“After moisturizing the skin, I patted a layer of the Flawless Stay Grip Primer to ensure the makeup lasts. I used the Flawless Stay Foundation and the Flawless Stay Concealer, where needed, to even out her skin tone before using the Contour Stick to define her cheekbones. I like to use a cream contour before setting the skin with powder, as I find it blends more seamlessly and has more of a skin finish. I used the Cream Contour Palette in ‘Bronze’ to add warmth to the outer perimeter of her face.”

Since Zegler had her eyes covered, her cheeks were what popped the most. To get that rosy, lit-from-within effect, Stiles used the Matte Powder Blush in shade “Wish You Knew” for an “ethereal, cherubic” finish.

To finish the look, Stiles kept the lips soft and dimensional, complementing the overall romantic feel without pulling focus from the skin.

“For the lips, I used the Wooden Lip Pencil in ‘Shake It Like Jelly’ for a bit of dimension and topped them off with a layer of Lip Treatment in ‘So Vanilla’ for a high-shine finish,” she shared.

The final result? A soft, sculpted glam moment that proved less really can be more. Ahead, a full breakdown of the exact Beauty Creations products used to create Rachel Zegler’s Met Gala look.
