McDonalds Brings Back an Oldie But Goodie

McDonalds adds Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders to it menu.

Many people remember when McDonalds used to have Chicken Selects which were amazing. Sadly, there were discontinued in 2013 and many people were upset about it. McDonalds seems to be reincarnating them but with a new name: Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders. The 100% white meat tenders are battered, lightly seasoned and breaded while also containing no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. They’re then served along with nine signature sauces including Creamy Ranch, Honey, Tangy Barbecue and a new sauce inspired by the Big Mac Special Sauce.

The tenders are available only at select locations around the country. McDonald’s chef Michael Haracz had this to say about the new addition to the menu: “Our new Buttermilk Crispy Tenders are another example of how we’re giving customers the food they love. We also know they have a lot of passion for our sauces so we created a brand new Signature Sauce that perfectly complements Buttermilk Crispy Tenders with the ideal balance of sweet and tangy flavors. It might be my new favorite. Please don’t tell Honey Mustard.” It seems as if these new tenders are going to be even more addicting thanks to the buttermilk addition.

To celebrate their launch, they’ve also partnered with Delicious Design League, a graphic design studio, to create posters for each of the nine sauces. The posters are avaliable at several locations and have a website that shows where you can get one.
