GLITTER MAGAZINE BRINGS POPULAR NATIONAL “FASHION & BEAUTY CAMP” TO MIDSOUTH

Do you have a teen who would love the opportunity of a lifetime? Here’s their chance to get a firsthand introduction to the world of entertainment, business, fashion, beauty and publishing from a New York City powerhouse — the top talent behind well-known teen publication Glitter Magazine, For Girls Who Rock! (www.GlitterMagRocks.com).

As part of a national roll-out to major cities across the US, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Atlanta and Seattle, Glitter Magazine’s Fashion Camp workshops will head to Arkansas State University on JUNE 13TH, from 9 am to 3 pm. The goal? To inspire one teen at a time!

During these day-long sessions, your teen will acquire a variety of knowledge and skills. In fact, it may spark their interest in a fashion, beauty or entertainment career — or give them the confidence they need to pursue a future as an entrepreneur or lifestyle blogger in the years to come. Led by the publisher, creative director and editor-in-chief of Glitter Magazine — who is known for heading up teen workshops and camps on fashion and modeling internationally — this camp is a must-attend.

Highlights include a Q&A session, lunch with the editor-in-chief, fashion, beauty and entertainment hours as well as a technology overview on creating your brand. All participants take part in a digital celebrity interview, receive an autographed copy of Glitter Magazine, a fabulous swag bag full of goodies and a “mini mag” to take home with them after the workshop, filled with content the facilitators will help them create. Plus, one outstanding student, age 17-plus, will receive an internship at the magazine and several campers will be featured in an online editorial in the magazine’s “Real People” section. One 13-17 year old will receive an outstanding mention on our website. All the students will have some acknowledgement on our website and social networks as having attended. Open to ages 13-24.
