Katy Perry Adds New Items to CoverGirl Collection
Katy Perry adds some new pieces to the CoverGirl family.
Katy Perry has added some purr-fect new pieces to CoverGirl. The singer has worked with CoverGirl before and this will be her third collection with the company. The collection, Katy Kat, has eight pieces. They include an eyeshadow palette, mascara, lipstick, lip gloss and false eyelashes. Following the cat theme, the lip gloss and eyeshadow palette contain cat outlines or a cute cat attached to the top. To make the collection pop even more, Perry also included loose glitter pots and glitter in the palettes.
While Perry is known for being an international singer, she is also one of the many faces of CoverGirl and hosts of American Idol. CoverGirl recently changed their well-known slogan to “I am what I makeup” as they are trying to show that makeup can be a form of self-expression. Perry seems to embody this new slogan as she’s gone through almost every hairstyle and makeup trend imaginable. There were mixed reviews to this major change in the CoverGirl slogan as everyone had grown accustomed to their previous slogan “Easy, Breezy, Beautiful.”
