Imagine Dragons Release ESPN College Football Anthem
Be prepared to hear this hit song on repeat from August 2018 to January 2019.
Imagine Dragons released a new single titled “Natural” on Tuesday. According to Billboard‘s Sam Tornow, this song will be the rocking anthem for ESPN’s college football coverage this season. This means that a small clip will be pulled from the song and played in promotional introductions and commercials again and again (…and again.)

Last year, the song was “Walk on Water” by 30 Seconds to Mars. The line from that song was “do you believe that you can win this fight tonight?” This will be the second time that ESPN has chosen Imagine Dragons to fill in the cracks of their coverage, the first being ID’s song “Roots” back in 2015.
The mix of loud drums and inspiring lyrics sung from lead singer Dan Reynolds make for a quintessential Imagine Dragons tune. Reynolds has also worked on his project Believer, an HBO documentary about the relationship between the LGBTQ+ community and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The pump-up anthem is incredibly catchy and strong. Take a listen below and brace yourself for the upcoming sports season.
