Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Get Coordinating Tattoos
Celebrity couple tattoos may be a recurring pattern.
It doesn’t get more adorable than this. Joe Jonas, 28, and his fiancé Sophie Turner, 22, recently visited the Bang Bang Tattoos tattoo parlor in New York City to get inked by artist Mr. K. They both got tattoos in honor of their late grandfathers.
Joe got a delicate thin line portrait of his granddad with “PaPa” in the postage stamp-like frame along with the date August 21st, 1940, most likely his birthdate.
Sophie got a small delicate pinky tattoo, captioning her photo simply: “for my grandad, my hero.”
Joe has previously been inked with Sophie. The musician got a line art portrait of a woman looking over her shoulder. It is safe to assume the portrait is of Turner herself. Along with the portrait is a knotted tie, a probable metaphor for “tying the knot” between the two of them. The couple prefers to stay private, other than the announcement of their engagement in mid-October of 2017.
The coordinating tattoos have such a heartfelt and personal meaning behind them.
