Get Ready for Jason Momoa + Nicole Kidman in ‘Aquaman’

From the creators that brought you Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa is Aquaman – the heir to the Kingdom of Atlantis. Aquaman has appeared in previous DC Universe films, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017). 

But for the first time, we will see his own backstory in live action.

A young Arthur Curry comes to realize his own identity. Being half mortal, half Atlantean and the son of the queen, he is gifted with superhuman strength and abilities such as the capability to communicate with aquatic life and manipulate the ocean waters.

For many years, humans have continued to be a threat to the oceans creating a toxic environment for Atlanteans. Aquaman battles to keep both the surface and the sea safe after his brother decides it is time to invade the surface.
