Aminé Drops ‘BLACKJACK’ Music Video
The Portland rapper released a music video for his single, “BLACKJACK.”
On Wednesday the “Reel It In” rapper dropped a music video filled with black boy joy from his second studio album, OnePointFive. Aminé is known for his creative and unapologetic music videos and that is exactly what he delivered with the “BLACKJACK” music video. In the video, the rapper paid homage to Jack Black who played in School of Rock back in 2003. Aminé decided to make his own spin to the movie, in the music video referring his version as “School of Rap”. Jack Black appreciated the sentiment because he made a video expressing his excitement for the music video. The actor mispronounced Aminé’s name in the video and Aminé responded on Instagram, “You’re the only one allowed to mess up my name and still have me smiling.”

In the video, there was a special appearance from internet sensation, Rickey Thompson who plays a disapproving teacher.
