Hugh Jackman and Zach Galifianakis Star in New Animated Movie

Jackman and Galifianakis will lend their voices to the two main characters of Missing Link.
The studio that brought us the beautiful claymation of Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings and many other films will be bringing us the latest stop motion masterpiece, Missing Link. Laika Entertainment is known for their care and creativity in bringing claymation stories to life. They aren’t afraid to tackle the grandest of adventures whether supernatural or fantastical in nature, who better to take on a movie about the last living sasquatch?

Missing Link stars Zack Galifianakis as Susan, the last living sasquatch, and Hugh Jackman as the legendary explorer, Lionel Frost. The film will tell the story of Frost leading Susan across the world to find his only remaining family, the Yetis. Along the way, the two will meet another explorer named Adelina Fortnight, who will be voiced by Zoe Saldana. With this cast and what could only be described as a fun and family-friendly story, this movie seems like a hit already.

The trailer was released on Feb. 5th and exemplifies the iconic animation of Laika, as well as lovable characters and witty dialogue. It talks about the themes of family, individuality, and what it means to have a home. Overall, it looks downright heartwarming and the anticipation for its release is already building.
Missing Link will be in theatres on April 12th, so be ready!
