‘Elementary’ Will Be Ending After Seven Seasons
After a successful seven-season run, Elementary will be airing its final season.
It is the era of Sherlock Holmes. Between Sherlock, Holmes, and Watson, Sherlock Holmes, and countless other properties riffing off of the famed detective, Elementary did a great job standing out among the competition.

The series stars Jonny Lee Miller as Holmes and Lucy Liu as his trusted companion, Watson. However, in this iteration, she is Joan Watson, not John Watson. This is quite a welcome change. The two, both disgraced in their own ways, team up in modern Manhattan to help the NYPD with its most uncrackable cases. It turns out, they’re a pretty great team.

This series has been a fan favorite since it aired in 2012. It holds a respectable 7.9 on IMDb and 96% from Google. Those are great and well-earned ratings. The show has had a great run. However, on March 26th, Elementary announced that it would be airing its final season. It will be dearly missed, but we wish the cast and crew the best of luck.
The final season premiere will air on May 23rd on CBS, so make sure you’re all caught up before then.
