Camila Cabello Set to Make Her Acting Debut in New Cinderella Movie

Camila Cabello is up to something great. The Grammy-nominated singer is set to make her feature film acting debut with a new Cinderella movie. The idea came from James Corden, The Late Late Show host and the one who brings us our beloved Carpool Karaoke. The star is teaming up with the director of Blockers, Kay Cannon, to create the new version of the Disney classic. As if this news wasn’t exciting enough, Cabello is not only set to star in the film but will also be involved in the soundtrack for the film.

The details of the plot are still under wraps but it is being described as “a modern re-imagining of the traditional tale of the orphaned girl with an evil stepmother, with a musical bent thrown in for good measure” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is being produced by both James Corden and Leo Pearlman and we’re sure we’re going to love it.
