Adam Levine Is Leaving ‘The Voice’
After 16 seasons on The Voice, Adam Levine is making an exit.
Carson Daly, the host of the show, told Today the surprising news. The Maroon 5 singer will not be coming back for the next season.
Adam Levine was an original judge on the singing competition show which premiered in 2011. Alongside Levine in the first season, were judges and fellow artists Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green. Only Levine and Blake Sheldon were constants on the show as the other spots in the large red chairs were frequently rotated out for other judges.
During Adam Levine’s time on the show, he and his talent won three times. The first winner was from season one with Javier Colon, who released his last album in 2016 called Gravity. Then, Levine’s team won again in season five with Tessanne Chin, a singer with an already successful career in Jamaica. Then lastly in season nine, Levine’s team won with Jordan Smith as his pick who has released two studio albums so far.
There is no official word right now as to what Adam Levine plans to do now, but The Voice has already chosen Gwen Stefani as Levine’s replacement.

This means this upcoming season the new judges of the show will be Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson.
