BLANCORE’s SS2020 Tribute to American Fashion
BLANCORE made its collection debut for New York Fashion Week.
On September 5th, BLANCORE, a New York-based contemporary brand, secured the heart of Manhattan with its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at Spring Studios. The astonishing show opened with a sequence of three performers in white bodysuits under alluring blue lighting effects. The blue lighting alluded to a pool as the ingenuity of the SS collection was “water” in all its life-forms.
“Water can be ubiquitous and ethereal, vanishing without a trace,” Yalan, Creative Director of BLANCORE, explained.
BLANCORE believes that water defines the existence of every living thing. The colors of each piece are soft yet bold, and the essence of water was captured beautifully with a flow of motion from each piece as the models strutted down the runway.
The manner of Yalans line integrated business-management acumen with sensitive contemporary design. The young designer combined American style and minimalism with French “deconstruction” to bring to life an effective, second-skin, exterior. The designs and compositions exude confidence and positivity. Yalan sought out to portray the willingness to explore all dimensions and possibilities in life.
CEO Linfei describes the Spring/Summer 2020 debut as its tribute to American fashion.“We believe that with the international influence and resources New York Fashion Week offers, BLANCORE will have exponential growth after our debut here.”
