Camila Cabello Keeps Reliving The Same Bad Dream In The “Liar” Music Video
Following last weeks release of her “Shameless” video, Camila Cabello dropped her second music video for her newest single “Liar” on Thursday morning.
The hilarious yet absurd video shows Cabello stuck in a recurring nightmare that involves her repeating the same bad date with her rich fiancé before dying in several bizarre ways. The music video seems to take inspiration from the 1993 film Groundhog Day as she keeps reliving the same day over and over again.
The video starts with Cabello on a date with her awful fiancé. She then starts choking as she is lying about the love she has for him. She is then encountered by a waiter who leaves her a note and she ends up falling in love with him. This scene leads to a series of unexpected scenarios that see Cabello being crushed by an elephant and a bunch of cyclists crashing into her.
The video for “Liar” follows the theme of the song about not being in control of your emotions and being unable to avoid temptations towards a lover.
Cabello released “Liar” this week alongside her new single “Shameless”. Both singles will be on her upcoming sophomore album, “Romance”. A release date for the album has yet to be announced.
