‘Spider-Man’ Is Back in the MCU Universe After the Long Conflict
Disney and Sony have finally called it a truce and plan to co-produce the next Spider-Man film with Tom Holland, to release July 16th, 2021.
Sony and Disney have finally put aside their difference after the long strenuous debate with one another. The studios have decided to make Marvel and Spider-Man fans happy by making another Spider-Man film.
The announcement has come to a surprise considering Sony studios announced a month ago they wouldn’t be allowing Spider-Man into any MCU movies. The news left many fans upset, even calling to boycott Sony. However, with the new agreement, not only will there be another Spider-Man film but it will also potentially be featured in other Marvel Universe projects.
With a report from Sony and Marvel’s reconciliation, Tom Holland expressed his excitement on Instagram. Holland expressed himself through posting Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Wolf of Wall Street scene when DiCaprio’s character announces he’s not leaving. Mark Ruffalo, who plays the “Hulk,” also commented under Hollands post stating he had a feeling the Marvel and Avengers team would see him again.
Tom Holland isn’t the only one excited about the news; Spider-Man fans have been buzzing on twitter about the Disney and Sony agreement. #SpiderMan was trending on twitter with fans thrilled about Spider-Man returning to the MCU.
