The Rock’s Daughter, Simone Johnson, Joins the WWE

Simon Johnson, the daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, announced that she will be joining the WWE and following her father’s footsteps. 

Simone Johnson is only 18 years old and is already taking up her father’s mantel. She signed with the WWE and is already training in Orlando, Florida. Simone Johnson is the fourth generation in her family to sign a contract with the WWE making history. Some of her family members that performed in the WWE are Peter Mavia, her great grandfather and Rocky Johnson, her grandfather.

In a statement by Simone Johnson, she said, “It means the world to me, to know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy.” There isn’t an exact day for her debut appearance but she will be trained by professional wrestlers, including her father.
